Downlad Internship discription WILPF International Secretariat Internship – Geneva (November 2011) Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) work on issues of peace, human rights and disarmament at the local, national and international levels. We participate in ongoing national and international debates on peace and security issues, conflict prevention and resolution, on the elimination of all forms of discrimination, and the promotion and protection of human rights. We contribute to analysis of women peace and security issues, and through our program activities educate, inform and mobilize women for increased participation and response. Duration: 7 months Start: 30 November 2011 End date: 30 June 2012 (can be extended for 1 month) Non-paid internship (Travel expences will be met by the organisation)
