WILPF International secretariat Wish List

This is what we currently need for the international Secretariat in Geneva

Server
Our office is in need of a new server that's working better than our old one! We're looking for a server with a memory of at least 350 GB and a really fast processor.

Software
We try to do most of our work using free open source software under the GNU license, but not everything works, or works on all of the machines.  We're looking for a good shared calendar programme as well as good file management programmes.  Any help would be great!

Fridge for the kitchen
Our kitchen is in great need of a new refrigerator! Or at least one that’s working better than the present one and actually keeps the food cold…If you have one that seals properly and is energy efficient we would truly appreciate it.

Big cardboards and whiteboards
If you work in an office that is redecorating and is throwing out old card boards or white boards, don’t throw them away, give them to us instead and help us improve the office organization.

Office chairs
We all agreed that these are the priority for us

A cordless telephone
to be placed on this side of the office where we usually sit so we don't have to get up to answer the phone, and can move around if needed when on a call

A digital camera
We also need related software for the computers. We thought it would be nice to be able to take photos of events we plan/participate in, e.g. CSW, and have photos of various things to insert into e-news and even put on our new website!

Label-maker
To help with office organisation and the accessibility of the filing system etc.
