The Committee of 100 consists of people from all around the world who have been asked to contribute to the preparations for the 100 year anniversary and the process of getting ready for another century of efforts to build a more peaceful society. The Committee of 100 are women and men who have made a gift of 1000 US dollars, 1000 € or 1000 Swiss Francs in support of "WILPF 100 and beyond". Women's International League for Peace and Freedom has ever since 1915 brought critical issues to public attention. WILPF has relentlessly resisted militarism, war, economic injustices and all other forms of discrimination. The upcoming 100 years anniversary is not only an occasion to bring people together to celebrate these past achievements, but an opportunity to acknowledge how WILPF is continuing this struggle, while adapting to new circumstances and addressing new challenges in the future.
