Peace meeting invite

THE South Somerset Peace Group is holding a public meeting in the Minster Rooms at Ilminster on October 23.

The guest speaker at the meeting, which starts at 7.30pm, will be Rae McGrath, the international spokesman on cluster munitions for Handicap International UK Cluster munitions release several hundred smaller 'bomblets' which pose an unacceptable danger to civilians both during and long after a conflict, just as landmines do. Civilians constitute 98 per cent of cluster munitions casualties.

All are welcome to the meeting which has a £2 entry fee and includes tea and coffee.
